Ceramic Processing and Microstructure Control

Welcome to my research blog!

I am a Materials Scientist working in the Ceramic Synthesis and Functionalization Laboratory, a public\private research unit mixed between Saint-Gobain and the CNRS. We are a small "transversal" team with skills and research interests than span the common ceramic processing route: powder synthesis, green forming, sintering, and characterization. My role in the team is finding new ways of controlling ceramic microstructures and tailoring them to enable new properties or improve performance for specific applications. I am also very interested in the software tools we use to process data, communicate results, and archive our work.

Projects

  • CARENA Catalytic membrane reactors for C1-C4 valorization. We are studying mixed ionic and electronic conducting ceramics for gas separation during chemical reactions.
  • HETMOC Highly efficient tubular membranes for oxycombustion. We produced powders and are scaling up asymmetric tubular membrane production for oxygen separation.
